For athletes
and their companions accommodation is available at special prices in flats,
hotels and the summer camp. N.B.:
The types of accommodation and rates are given on the participation form. Word document download: Flats: have one bedroom (two-roomed
flats for 4 people) or two bedrooms (three roomed for 6 people), lounge with
divan-bed and kitchenette (including kitchen ware, fridge, cooking hob),
bathroom (without toilet paper and towels). Most flats have a double bed and
a divan bed. Most flats have a private car parking space. Participants should
enter their flats by 7 pm on the arrival day, because after that time it is
not possible to contact the agencies in case of need (e.g. empty gas bottle,
water leaks, power failure, etc.). Should participants arrive in Bibione
after the check-in has closed, the Organisation committee will leave an
envelope containing the keys and a map showing how to reach the team’s
accommodation with the reception desk of the International Tourist Village
(via delle Colonie, 2 - Bibione), which is open around the clock.
Participants may request adjacent flats by stating their request on the
registration form. Likewise flats can be supplied with 7 or more beds. We are
unable to know how the flats are assigned beforehand, as the agencies hand
over the envelopes containing the keys and maps immediately before check-in
opens. However the accommodation is no further than 5 minutes by car from the
playing courts. The flats must be left empty and clean by 10 am on departure
day. The keys must be returned to the Organisers by that time otherwise the
deposit will not be refunded. Please bring your own towels and sheets if you
have not requested this service. Hotel: The Organisation Committee
guarantees the best hotels in the resort. All the hotels ranging from 1 to 4
stars, have rooms with 2 or more beds and private bathroom, reserved car
space and full services. The hotels are no more than 5 minutes by car from
the playing courts. Hotel accommodation is for a minimum of 2 nights. On
arrival in Bibione, the teams must enter their rooms by 11 pm. Camping: in the International Tourist
Village (4 stars), there are fully equipped camping bays for tents or mobile
homes (for which there are no extra costs to those given for the camping bays
on the registration form). The teams must put their tents up by 11 pm.
Parking is charged for inside the Village; nearby there are large free car
parks for your cars. The International Tourist Village is close to the Spa
Centre in Bibione, facing the sea with a large private beach, with bar,
restaurants, supermarket, market, newspapers and tobacconists, games room,
tennis court, bowling, bathrooms and changing rooms with heated showers,
swimming pools with slides and hydromassage and several other facilities
besides. Summer camp:
this tourist-hostel is owned by CIF – The Italian Female Centre, and is
situated near to the Spa Centre in Bibione (next to the International Tourist
Village), on the sea front with a large private beach. The hostel has large
rooms with 4-6-8 beds and shared bathrooms. Accommodation in the summer camp
is for a minimum of 2 nights. On arrival in Bibione, teams must enter their
rooms by 10 pm. Please bring your own towels and sheets if you have not
requested this service. |
